Creativity Unlimited Arts Council (CUAC) is an energetic group of people with events through out the year. Past events include the Literary Festival, Autumn Arts Festival, Children’s Art Festival, and Community Unity Tile Project. Annual events include the Spring Herb Market, co-sponsors of the NEBRASKALand Days Competitive Show reception, and a Murder Mystery Dinner.

In addition to its goals of being a catalyst for collaboration among the local art organizations, CUAC owns the 1913 Post Office at 5th and Jeffers, future home of the Prairie Arts Center. When completed it will provide the venue for special art exhibitions, chamber music performances, class rooms for all art and cultural related activities, and be an ideal setting for many community events. This Italian Renaissance building is registered with the local and State Historical Society and is one of very few historical buildings left in North Platte. However, a complete renovation is needed, as the building has been empty for over nine years and does not meet current standards for public use.

By joining as a member or making a contribution to CUAC, you will help create a cultural legacy for the city of North Platte and western Nebraska.

The CUAC is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 corporation.
